Founded in Salt Lake City to do one thing well.
EquityGround Partners LLC was formed by operators and advisors who had sat on both sides of the table: as owners trying to understand their own positions, and as managers asked to look after someone else's.
What we kept seeing was the same gap. Owners had capital, lawyers, and accountants, but no one whose sole job was to manage the equity itself: to keep the structure clean, watch the covenants, prepare the board, and tell the partners the truth in plain language. We built the firm to fill that seat.
Today we work from 331 S Rio Grande St in downtown Salt Lake City, with clients across Utah, the Mountain West, and a handful of relationships further afield. We remain intentionally small.
Six commitments we put in writing.
Fiduciary first
We act in the interest of the owners we serve, document our reasoning, and accept accountability for the outcomes.
Long horizons
Equity rewards patience. We are built for decade-long relationships, not quarterly churn.
Plain reporting
If a board member can't understand a report in ten minutes, we rewrite it. Clarity is part of the service.
Independence
No products, no fund to feed, no referral fees. Our only revenue is the fee our clients agree to.
Named accountability
Every mandate has one partner whose name is on it. You will never be handed to a call center.
Written mandates
Objectives, limits, and decision rights are agreed on paper before work begins, and revisited every year.
Partners who have owned, operated, and reported.
Our partners come from private equity operations, corporate finance, and family-office administration. Between them they have sat on more than forty boards and managed equity through two full market cycles.
